Step 3: Cover it with your go-to cover sheet and press for another 5 seconds to lock it in!
Cotton, Blends & Most Materials
Temp: 290ºF
Time: 10–12 seconds
Pressure: Medium to High
Polyester & Sensitive Materials
Temp: 275ºF
Time: 10–12 seconds

🤔 My transfer isn’t sticking — what’s going on?
First thing to check is your temperature, pressure, and press time. If the press isn’t hot enough or the pressure is too light, the adhesive can’t bond properly. Use a heat gun or temperature strip to confirm your press is reaching the correct temp.
🤔 My edges are lifting after peeling.
This usually means the adhesive wasn’t fully sealed. Simply cover with parchment or kraft paper and give it a quick 5-second second press. This locks the edges in place.
🤔 Film isn’t peeling cleanly.
Uneven or low pressure is the most common cause. Make sure you’re using firm, even pressure.
Give it some more time under heat with more pressure. You can even use your fingers and press down on those small edges or corners to make sure enough pressure get applied for the clean transfer to the garment.
🫤 Can I use a home iron or Cricut EasyPress?
It’s possible, but not recommended. Home irons and Cricut devices don’t provide consistent temperature or pressure, which can lead to failed transfers. For reliable, professional results, always use a real heat press.
🤔 When can I wash the garment?
Allow the print to cure for 24 hours before washing or stretching the fabric. This ensures the adhesive fully sets and your DTF print lasts.
